7pm-8:30pm No Name…And a Bag of Chips, New York City's longest running comedy variety show, celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2024 by returning to the scene of some of its greatest triumphs, Otto’s Shrunken Head.
They return with their beloved blend of some of the country's best stand-up comics alongside an eclectic mix of variety acts, including storytellers, musicians, and magicians, among others.
Holding it all together is their house band, The Summer Replacements. The shows always end with a cheap door prize giveaway. It's always fun, and it's always free. Hosted by No Name co-founder and producer, the amiable Eric Vetter.

Subway to Skaville is your monthly ska party with a tiki twist, hosted the second Friday of every month at Otto’s Shrunken Head (East Village, NYC), and bringing you the best of the ska genre in all its styles.
You’ll hear bands with traditional 60s influence to ska-core and everything in between, along with the best NYC selectors spinning you a potpourri of ska, rocksteady, reggae, and dub!

This is due to his wildly popular Monthly SURF-ROCK SHINDIG concert series which he has been running successfully at a tiki bar in NYC called OTTO's SHRUNKEN HEAD, featuring reverb-drenched bands every first Saturday of the Month!! And no shows are ever alike!! He is also known for his internet radio show, TWANG SHEBANG. Unsteady Freddie archives a lot of live music events, such as those at OTTO's, which can be viewed at his YouTube Channel

After 8 years with Soulfinger! Connie T. Empress is returning to her roots with The Empire State Soul Club monthly dance parties at Otto's starting January 2025.

Every 2nd Saturday expect to hear new djs, plus ones you know and love all playing so you get the feelin' deep down to your toes! Genres spanning Classic to Latin, Boogaloo, Northern/Southern, soul adjacent crossover and modern 45s will fill your senses in every way. You CAN'T sit down!
